Serves as Assistant and Trustee Liaison in the Office of the President by providing assistance in the management of internal communications and communications to the Board of Trustees. Oversees the budgets for the Office of the President and the Board of Trustees. Provides administrative assistance to the Chief of Staff (COS) and to the President (on an as needed basis). Supports the COS in stakeholder communications, planning of Board meetings and events, internal communications, and other projects needing assistance within the Office of the President. Collaborates with the Donor Relations Manager to plan Board meetings and events. Responsible for compilation, organization, print and distribution of the Board meeting materials and other publications/materials related to the Board of Trustees. Editor of weekly staff e-newsletter.
Duties
Assist the Office of the President in managing internal communications
Liaison to the Board of Trustees.
Oversee the budgets for the Office of the President and the Board of Trustees
Assist the Chief of Staff in stakeholder communication, planning of Board meetings and events, administrative duties such as scheduling, and other projects needing assistance within the Office of the President.
Serve as editor of weekly staff e-newsletter
Assist in the planning of staff events, meetings and other internal communication as needed.
Work with the Donor Relations Manager to plan Board meetings and events, provide support at each meeting through logistical and administrative assistance, perform advance work as needed for Board meetings.
Responsible for compilation, organization, print and distribution of the Board of Trustees' Redbook for each meeting. Also responsible for production and/or distribution of publications and materials related to the Board of Trustees and its meetings.
Qualifications
2 – 4 years minimum experience in public relations, internal communications or marketing related field.
Bachelor degree required; degree in Journalism, English, Marketing or Communications preferred.
