ABC15 is seeking a proven creative services executive who can increase audience and revenue market share by leading the marketing and branding efforts of the station on multiple platforms.
The Creative Services Director will lead the brand image strategy and execution for ABC15 and abc15.com, including supervising all aspects of station promotion, marketing and community relations using on-air, online and outside media resources and will be responsible for the development of promotional strategic plans, multi-media marketing plans, promotional news campaigns and general programming promotion.
Examples of duties performed include develop web-based promotion and monitor image of abc15.com, supervise and schedule day-to-day activites in the Creative Services department and be a liaison with ABC network and syndicators regarding the ABC15 station promotional activities. In addition, responsibilities include develop and coordinate viewer-related contests and develop and monitor annual budgets for the Creative Services department.
Desired Skills & Experience
Education - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or other related field preferred or equivalent business experience.
Experience: Minimum of five years of progressively responsible multi-media creative/management experience in the areas of promotion, production and/or creative services. Proven track record for development of successful marketing concepts and branding efforts on air and digital products is a necessity.
Driving: Valid driver's license with no more than four (4) points in the past 36 month, in accordance to station policy and proof of insurability (must carry liability limits of $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident/$50,000 per property).
Skills and Abilities:
Must be proficient in videography, non-linear editing, cutting-edge computer software operation.
Should possess a keen interest in the latest technology, social media applications and web analytics.
Must possess effective leadership and management skills as well as the ability to work well as part of the station's executive leadership team.
Possess the ability to conceive, produce, implement and measure strategic marketing plan based on research.
Must be able to sit/stand/walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up top 15 pounds.
