Overview: Lead, recruit, develop, deploy, and retain a team of highly skilled marketing professionals to support the RMP and regional OMPs in the development and execution of their market strategy. This includes regional resources to support ORMP and DGES strategies, associated budgeting, and team leadership responsibilities, etc.

Lead marketing strategist for the RMP, serving as single point of contact for marketing needs and issues, including connection with Pursuit Channel
Develop and lead the execution of overall marketing strategy and tactics that will meet the needs of the region, leveraging all SM&BD services available to the region
Facilitate engagement and collaboration of other SM&BD channels and applicable enabling areas as they participate in the marketplace
Marketing leadership to ensure quality and implementation of all national marketing strategies & events deployed in the region such as FSS, DGES, IMOs, Director s' Series, Private Perspectives, etc.
Serve, on behalf of all OMP Marketing leads, as regional point person for collaboration with PR, Community Involvement, Internal Communications and Alumni Relations
Coach client service professionals in ways to build eminence and develop relationships with key target companies
Ensure that best practices developed within the region are shared with other Regional Marketing Leaders
Serves as secondary endorser for Pursuits leader and FSS marketers with regional responsibility
SM&BD Community building responsibility for co-resident SM&BD folks
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent written and oral communications skills, including the ability to address complex issues
Strong interpersonal, project management and organizational skills, with a persistent focus on client service (both internal and external).
Deep understanding of business issues with a focus on creating opportunities that maximize positioning our services to meet client needs
Innovative and creative problem solver with an eye on the bottom line
Effective in developing and executing measurement to help support value of marketing strategy
Bachelor degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field of study. Advanced degree preferred.
15 years marketing experience, preferred in a series of marketing or channel leader positions, involving client strategy development
Strong performance in developing and executing business strategy
Proven experience in providing counsel to senior management and ability to develop innovative programs and solutions to support market
Self-motivated with proven record in leading matrixed teams
