Overview:
The Manager Sales Deployment is responsible for defining, developing and managing the successful deployment of programs and initiatives to enable and maximize selling time for the sales organization which includes sales communications planning and execution, and overall responsibility for sales intranet communication mediums. In addition, this position works closely with internal stakeholders at FedEx Office and across the FedEx Organization.
Responsibilities:

Define, execute and manage sales communications strategy for field sales and sales support team members.
Develop and execute the strategy of sales intranet sites, including future enhancements and overall alignment with corporate governance
Manage and edit communications tools such as newsletters, print publications, broadcast e-mail, sales announcements and news features for sales Intranet sites
Create and manage communication plans to field sales and sales support team members through meetings and consultations
Team with Marketing and Product Management to deliver tools and resources that can be used by field sales to improve penetration of new business including effective best practices and processes for lead management
Collaborate with multiple departments, corporate-wide communications and stakeholders to ensure sales messages align with and support FedEx Office sales and corporate strategies and business initiatives
Develop plans to monitor the quality of and pro-actively identify ways to improve sales communications programs, channels and messages
Lead and manage a team by training, developing and coaching team members on a consistent basis
All other duties as needed or required
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, related field or equivalent experience
7 years in a Communications role, preferably in a corporate or sales setting
5 years experience in graphic design with focus on internal employee communications
2 years advanced writing, editing and proofreading skills
2 years of management experience preferred
Experience with Internet design and content management systems
Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Photoshop, etc.) skills are mandatory
For new hires, must meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful passing of background check
For current FedEx Office team members, must meet hiring criteria for the position and transfer requirements as outlined in the Team Member Handbook
