Our team is a startup-like business unit within Aetna, which is designing, building and delivering this new, integrated digital experience for our users. To achieve this, we've introduced new thinking, technologies and processes to our organization that allow us to adapt quickly to change, while allowing our team members to work autonomously, purposefully and to grow professionally.
Fundamental Components:
The growing design team at Aetna Digital is looking for an experienced UX Content Strategist/UX Copywriter to help demystify the complexities of healthcare for our users, motivate them to take smarter and healthier actions, and celebrate their successes with them. Were looking for a passionate person who can take an empathic approach towards explaining things like claims, benefits and plan details in digestible, meaningful ways. Because were dedicated to empowering better decision making, you're also familiar with recent research in behavior change. You Are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in an enterprise setting, you enjoy working independently and you love problem-solving in cross-functional teams. However, the most important prerequisite is your passion for doing the right thing. With an audience of 20 million people that's expected to grow quickly, you will have an impact. Oversee the proper usage of voice and tone for all digital assets created through Aetna Digital (mobile & web apps).Work closely with the product and design teams team to source or create the right UI copy to educate, motivate and empower users.Collaborate with our UX researchers and data scientists to understand user behaviors and uncover new opportunities for engagement.Provide proto-copy and content recommendations to our UX and UI designers to facilitate testing and iterative developmentCollaborate with marketing to create a seamless experience for users between products and contextsAdapt and evolve Aetnas existing brand voice style guide into specific versions for our productsCollaborate with our content strategists to build out standardized content models and templates.Coordinate copy approvals w/ legal, brand and compliance (incl. Accessibility).Author content in our CMS
8 years of web/mobile ux content strategy / copywriting experienceExperience working at the enterprise level (health care experience not required, but preferred)Experience authoring in content management systemsUnderstanding of how metadata can be used for personalization, targeting and information managementA passion for language and how it can influence behaviorAbility to create clear, concise and compelling contentExperience integrating brand voice into personalized or segment-driven contentRelentless attention to detailExceptional writing, editing and research skillsAbility to work collaboratively with multiple teams (Legal, Compliance, Design, UX,Product, Engineering, Marketing)Experience with Agile (especially SAFe) preferred
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
