The Sr. Analyst, Content Merchandising Operations is responsible for content management and program tactic execution for hotels enrolled in MDS (*** Digital Services) services. This role will focus on the management of content and assets across *** Hotel Websites (HWS), Online Travel Agencies (OTA), and additional digital channels. This role is tasked with staying up to date on industry best-practices and works to implement new techniques and tactics within Digital Services programs. This position will work cross-functionally with various *** Digital teams to advance the value of content and photography at the hotel level. This position reports to the Manager, Content Operations.
Education and Experience
BS/BA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
2-3 years of relevant work experience (digital marketing, CMS operations, content management, SEO, etc.).
Agency internship or work experience preferred, tactical execution responsibilities a plus.
Salesforce, AEM, CMS knowledge preferred
Managing Work, Projects, and Policies
Manages execution of all Content Merchandising Operations related tactics that support the overarching content strategies and digital goals.
Assists in prioritizing, organizing, and accomplishing work on behalf of the Content Merchandising Operations Discipline.
Utilizes Salesforce to turn projects into plans and schedules to successfully deliver program deliverables to clients.
Ensures work is appropriately documented to ensure scale and consistency
Works cross-functionally across MDS, with partner corporate, brand and support teams to advance content opportunities at the hotel level.
Works with team to execute sustainable work processes that support the Content Merchandising Discipline.
Aids in the completion and resolution of content merchandising Salesforce cases (directly to client, or through agency partner).
Acquires answers, completes follow ups and closes the loop on feedback, issues and escalations.
Maintains a strong partnership with peers and partners teams. Assists with special projects and pilot processes.
Tools and Vendors
Works with and/or manages day-to-day agency and vendor relationships, ensuring quality of work and timeliness of deliverables.
Assists in training on tactical processes and best practices with vendor partners.
Manages the flow of questions and directs inquiries to the appropriate party vendor, Client Success, etc.
