Content Marketing Specialist
The Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the coordination and creation of all digital and print content to support field marketing enablement and lead generation programs. The right candidate will have experience in cross channel content marketing and content optimization including text, audio, video and image content, social media marketing and search marketing.
The Content Marketing Specialist will have a creative marketing mind with the ability to organize projects, meet deadlines and work cross functionally. The ability to understand strategic goals, as well as positioning and messaging, to develop on-target content that generates demand is critical.
This position requires experience in using digital and print content to support strategic organizational objectives.
What you’ll do in this position:
Develop content that supports organizational goals from the top to the bottom of the marketing and sales funnel including increasing brand and offer awareness, growing website traffic, generating leads, as well as acquiring and retaining customers.
Collaborate with the Director of Product Marketing on the development of content calendar.
Drive content timelines and calendars, and project manage multiple content development efforts to ensure timely delivery of assets.
Write and edit clean, creative and consistently high-quality content to fuel the blog, website, social channels, and integrated marketing campaigns.
Develop a variety of sales tools and marketing collateral to include video, landing page, e-books, white paper, infographics, PowerPoint presentations.
Conduct interviews with subject matter experts, looking for creative ways to spotlight expertise and tell compelling stories using various media types.
Manage the production of digital and print content that is consistent with the organization’s brand, style and tone. Requires collaboration with graphic designers, videographers, web developers, etc.
Manage and know the depths of our content inventory, and find creative opportunities for content repurposing and reuse.
Monitor and report on content marketing metrics and show continuous improvement of the content strategy based on analytics.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or Public Relations required
2-3 years of experience in digital content strategy and tactics including content creation, editing, analytics, social media marketing and search engine optimization
Portfolio of writing samples for a range of content types: blog posts, eBooks, infographics, video scripts, articles, etc.
In-depth knowledge of social media best practices, tools, and trends
Natural ability to tell stories and a demonstrated knack for news and engaging readers with relevant and sticky content
Excellent project management, editing and proofreading skills with solid attention to detail
Technically savvy, comfortable using multiple software applications (i.e., proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Marketing Automation (HubSpot) a huge plus
Ability to work well cross functionally
Proven organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
Location: This position will be based out of our Denver office. Role reports to Director of Product Marketing.
