Develop branded copy for bareMinerals that deepens brand equity while creatively meeting business objectives, with the focus on developing copy for social as part of the Editorial Hub team.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Research, write, edit and proof all levels of copy, including headlines, body copy and social posts for all online social needs.
Understand the goal, audience, and message of a campaign and develop copy to suit. Write advertising copy for use to promote the Brand or products.
Collaborate with in-house creative team to deploy the strategy, tactics and create content that support and extend marketing initiatives.
Create compelling content and adapt existing program copy to support brand storytelling.
Reinforce, leverage, and maintain consistency of the bareMinerals brand voice
Collaborate with cross-functional partners on key initiatives to develop multi-channel content that is consistent with core program messaging and positioning.
Own special projects and brand franchises as needed.
Manage and maintain editorial and copy archive.
Qualifications & Competencies:
BA/BS degree in Communications, Advertising, Journalism, English or related field
Minimum 2 years related professional experience in cosmetics, luxury, fashion or a related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office and
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Equally strong creative, conceptual and critical thinking skills
Strong understanding of branded content in the prestige space
Ability to articulate the brand ‘voice’ in a creative and relevant way across all touch points
Ability to multitask and handle the meeting deadlines
Learn quickly and have ability to work independently
A willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies on the fly.
Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
Project management skills.
