Hill Knowlton Strategies company, is looking for a Content Writer

to join our regional team in Miami. The successful candidate will play a key role across the business.

As a Content Writer you will:

Partner with our account teams, along with regional clients to address corporate or brand’s needs through compelling content.

Assist in the development of client messaging and positioning for corporate, product and thought leadership programs.

Write clear, thoughtful, and consistent content for media outlets and digital platforms.

Edit content and documents prepared by others ensuring correct and concise communications

Communicate a complex product or brand in clear and innovative ways.

Be responsible for researching and writing on various writing projects across sectors.

Be responsible for long- and short-form content writing. The scope of format may include website copy, blogs, social media content, technical topics, research-based white papers, as well as persuasive pieces (i.e., op-eds or press releases).

Synthesize information and create strategic messaging and written materials in tandem with client and account leads.

Provide copy editing and proofreading, as required.

What you’ll need to get here:

Undergraduate degree, preferably in Journalism or Communications

4 years of professional experience in journalism, corporate communications, or executive communications. Experience in corporate affairs is a plus.

Exceptional writing and editing skills across a variety of styles (i.e., press releases, white papers, op-eds, talking points, social media content, etc.)

Ability to work independently with effective time management and prioritization

Excellent communication skills. Feels at ease presenting ideas clearly and concisely

Experience working on multi-disciplinary projects, from concept to execution.

Thorough understanding of citing and referencing sources, ensuring credibility is documented at every level

Ability to manage internal and external deadlines and deliverables across multiple client accounts

Curious and creative, as well as a critical thinker

Organized, detail-oriented, problem solver, energetic
