Spire is seeking a Manager, Marketing to work on the Corporate Communications team in St. Louis, Missouri.\u00a0 This person will be responsible for overseeing customer communications and marketing and advertising campaigns in all of Spire\u2019s regions. The Manager, Marketing is responsible for creating customer-facing materials, programs and campaigns that make Spire\u2019s value propositions simple, clear, concise and compelling, being used in market development, gaining new and retaining current customers and sales activities.Primary duties:
Develop strategy, create and implement programs for effective targeted marketing in all channels, driving sales, attracting potential customers and retaining current ones
Manage external advertising and communications firms used in the development of strategy, plans and campaigns
Develop strategy for communicating value of natural gas, energy efficiency, rebate and customer account management programs. Develop marketing programs to promote use, registration and adoption
Set targets for campaigns to ensure effectiveness
Effectively manage communications campaign budgets across all regulatory regions.
Produce monthly financial forecasts and budget reports
Uphold the tenants of the Spire brand in management activities and campaigns that are developed and implemented
Act as a strategic partner, supporting and developing campaigns and programs for Customer Experience, Field Operations and Spire Marketing
Partner with Organic Growth to achieve annual sales goals by providing marketing expertise and the development of local marketing programs or tactics
Provides regular insights and analyses pertaining to assigned markets to help uncover opportunities to leverage
Ensures effective, branded marketing communications including the company website, print communication and other deliverables.
Researches and evaluates new market opportunities, demand for products, and customer needs and insights

Supervisory responsibilities:Directly and indirectly supervises employeesEducation and experience:
Bachelor\u2019s degree in journalism, communications or business-related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a variety of communications areas such as advertising, marketing or sales support
Experience writing communications copy
Experience managing budgets
Experience in project management
Experience with developing communications and marketing strategy, plans and programs
