The role of Senior Manager, Digital Communications will focus on leading the communications strategy and execution for the CBRE Digital & Technology organization. While formally part of Corporate Communications, this role will be embedded with the D&T team and work directly with the Chief Digital & Technology Officer and her leadership team. This role will be responsible for driving internal and external communications for CBRE Vantage, our suite of enablement technologies as well as our emerging brand for Digital & Technology talent. In addition, this role will be key to ensuring that D&T employees around the world are well informed about key product launches. The ideal candidate should bring strong, digitally savvy professional-level story telling across multiple forms of media – written publications, video, podcasts, social media etc.
The ideal candidate will be a communications professional who is collaborative, creative, organized, eager to learn and thrives on juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
Develop and implement communications plans and strategies for the internal D&T team, client presentations related to technology and external communications, in line with current best practices and aligned to CBRE’s brand
Proactively assist D&T leaders globally to develop effective, consistent communications, both at a strategic and tactical level
Work in tandem with the Corporate Communications team’s internal communications efforts
Track metrics to determine effectiveness of messaging and communication channels
Oversee D&T’s internal and external branding and content/media strategy
Publish relevant content to the employee intranet and cbre.com
Manage applications/nominations for Digital & Tech-related awards and rankings
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or similar, or another discipline related to job functions with a minimum of 6 - 8 years of relevant work experience.
Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret the most complex business document.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.
Ability to write effective and persuasive reports, speeches, presentations, articles, papers and other materials on complex topics using distinctive style.
Ability to solve problems involving several options. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
Advanced knowledge of Office 365, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
