Position Summary:

The objectives of

the Communications Lead center on developing and managing communications across

both internal and external stakeholders in reference to our Build the Bank

initiative; from sharing news and sponsoring PR and media-worthy developments

to owning messaging from the Executive level to the field. The Communications

lead work closely with the Initiative Leadership team to identify progress

that's in flight and wins we've achieved; working with our Corporate

Communications team to energize our clients with updates regarding the

developments that matter most them, while also ensuring that our internal

partners are delivered the information they need, how and when they need it.


Key Responsibilities:Ensure

that the right message is delivered to the right audience at the right time by

developing a communications framework from the ground up which provides:


A common

taxonomy across all internal teams



background decks that ensure uniform context across all audiences



all presentations/updated with a defined communications calendar


external materials that communicate our exciting developments in our products

in a compelling, newsworthy manner 


with initiative leadership to plan internal and external roadshows; prep

leaders to engage employees and stakeholders




Degree in Communications, Journalism or related degree


10 years

of experience in Communications



understanding of the financial services industry and Regulatory, Legal, and

Risk environments, merchant acquiring experience a plus



knowledge of customer behaviors, sensitivities, and segments



writing skills; innovative content generator – can craft a message and sell it



approach with the ability to interact, influence, and communicate effectively

with all levels of the organization



in PowerPoint and PitchPro (non-negotiable)



communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to present to

varied and large audiences, including executive updates



of Communications practices and channels, both traditional and emerging



to work independently and create goals and vision for delivery in ambiguous or

new situations



to problem-solve and clearly articulate objectives and the required path(s) to

implement new process/program



influencing-without-authority skills



exceptional relationship building skills inside and outside the organization



experience in working across departments, lines of business within large
