Job Description: RingCentral's Content Marketing department is searching for a web copywriter to join the team. The writer will be part of a small copy team that reports to the senior web copywriter. You enjoy primarily writing for all things web, from optimizing SEO pages to strategizing and writing content for entirely new product pages through to researching and formulating the technical copy for on in-depth features pages. You know how to ask the right questions to ensure the copy you create will strike a chord with the target audience while ensuring that the content is on message and on brand. You know the ropes of the creative space and can easily work on your own or alongside a subject matter expert, web designer, or web director to gain the insight you need to help bring your copy to life. Responsibilities: Helps strategize, writes, and edits all forms of web content. Creates and edits copy within brand guidelines and current tone of voice. Work with teams across marketing, including the design team, product marketing, web, and corporate marketing to help develop strategy for web pages and then writes the copy for those pages. Presents proposed copy to web team and product owners in order to gain feedback. Collaborates with designers to bring the copy to life through design. Role Requirements: The initiative to get the job done and contribute to the brief formulation process rather than waiting for all the details to come to you. Well-spoken and highly communicative with excellent listening and collaboration skills which you apply to working with subject-matter experts in product marketing and management, customer support, engineering, customer marketing, upsell, lead generation, sales, operations, legal as well as partnering with the web team to deliver your projects. The ability to work in an open environment that is fast-paced and dynamic. The ability to discuss and take constructive feedback from various stakeholders, including the executive team, and apply their input while staying true to the web strategy and tone.
