Editorial Assistant (Journals)
Taylor & Francis Group, a leading global academic publishing company, currently have an exciting opportunity for an Editorial Assistant to join the company. As an Editorial Assistant you will take charge of a variety of general administrative tasks and act as a main point of contact for numerous colleagues, editors, authors, and other stakeholders.

We are seeking a candidate with enthusiasm, motivation, and a real interest in learning new publishing and business skills.
Tasks are likely to include:
Support the editorial development of project proposals across a range of subjects
Lead the development of a small number of projects under the direction of the Publisher
Provide project support as and when required, this includes support for projects that are in production and projects in development
Perform research to assess market viability of project ideas including university course research, competitor analyses, and engagement with subject specialist academics
Collate, analyze, and present research as required
Successfully liaise and communicate with colleagues within and across departments as required
Successfully liaise with external stakeholders as required
Responsible for building industry and market awareness, and attending conferences and events as appropriate
Manage the team’s administrative processes.
Preparing for and attending internal and external meetings
Accountable for managing own learning, taking responsibility to identify and develop skill gaps
