General Summary
Responsible to develop, write and maintain content on various communication channels for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and its subsidiaries (BBG). Will write, edit, and coordinate publications, press releases, newsletters, brochures, blogs, website content, video/phone scripts, leadership presentations, and other high-level communications. Will ensure accurate, consistent, and timely information.

Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (including donors) through established feedback channels in order to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes.
Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years old with a good driving record to meet organization driving standards.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Tasks
Oversee development, copy, layout, graphics and production of all publications to include Annual Report, brochures, forms and company newsletters.
Write and distribute engaging news articles, media releases and public service announcements.
Write, evaluate, proofread, verify and edit internal and external content to include advertising copy, articles, testimonials, brochures, video and phone scripts, bulletins, catalogs, letters, newsletters, programs, proposals, speeches, reports, email communications, etc.
Maintain and update organization's Intranet.
Maintain and update communications content on BBG employee mobile app.
Update Corporate Communications content on internal digital signage system. Identify and determine topics or subjects for various projects.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of projects.
Interview sources when appropriate for internal and external communication platforms.
Ensure publication projects meet quality standards, follow style guidelines, and convey consistency.
Maintain network drive of current and archived departmental forms.
Conduct and ensure proper inventory of department literature.
Solicit bids for printing orders and make appropriate arrangements for the delivery and/or pick-up of items.
Develop and maintain systems, processes, policies and procedures that support efficient and quality workflow.
Maintain a close working relationship with the departmental management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Non-Essential Tasks
Run departmental errands as directed.
Requires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university OR five years related experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree. The preferred major is English, Marketing, Communications or related discipline.
Licenses and/or Certifications
Texas Operators Driver’s License
Requires five or more years of journalism, publications, public relations, marketing, or media experience. Prefer advanced Spanish speaking and writing.
Prefer medical or Biomedical writing experience.
Prefer website experience.
Must have knowledge of journalism, public relations, media, and/or developing publications.
Must have previous work experience with Microsoft Office, to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have general knowledge of Adobe Suite products.
Must be able to write legibly.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to include grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Advanced Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
Must be capable of operating motor vehicles in all types of weather conditions.
Must be able to keep information confidential.
Must be neat in appearance and well groomed.
Must be professional, detail oriented, self-motivated, innovative, creative, assertive, organized, communicative, and have the ability to work independently.
Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the general public, employees and management staff.
Must have versatile editorial abilities for all types of publications.
Working Environment
Works in well-lighted, air-conditioned and heated vehicle or office environments, but may work in confined spaces and non-climate controlled conditions. May be exposed to electrical and chemical hazards and other conditions common to an office environment. May be required to work at any time of the day, evening or night during the week or weekend to include being on-call. Occasional out of town and overnight stays required. Ability to use personal motor vehicle for company business required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to drive on behalf of the organization.
Will sit, stand, walk, and bend during working hours.
Requires to reach, lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing corrected to a normal range.
