The Corporate Affairs Project Specialist is a critical role that will own the corporate communications editorial calendar for all external and internal channels to ensure content is created and published on schedule.
What youll be doing
Manage the corporate communications editorial calendar for all external and internal channels to ensure content is created and published on schedule
Partner with communications team members and cross-functional partners to help create and execute project and communications plans across a variety of channels and audiences
Track down information for—and help write—communications on a number of topics including company announcements, meeting presentations, scripts, key messages and talking points
Help draft and publish content for employee communications channels including email newsletters, Slack, digital signage and company all-hands meetings
Support large-scale external and internal events and meetings including researching venues, managing invites and attendee lists, coordinating A/V and logistics, ordering and shipping supplies, setting up and tearing down events, etc.
Perform administrative tasks for our head of communications including managing email and calendars, booking travel, and coordinating team meetings and offsites
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in communications, journalism or a related field
At least 2-3 years of professional experience
Experience in corporate communications, PR or related field is a plus
Experience working in a high-growth tech company and/or a gig economy business is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven track record of setting priorities and managing deadlines
Must be proficient with PowerPoint and/or Keynote
An eye for graphic design and familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
Has a can-do attitude and understands that communications is a team sport requiring cross-functional collaboration with multiple internal clients and external partners
A high-level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
A passion to create more joyful experiences for dogs and the people who love them
