Purpose of the Job:
Assist to protect the company brand in North America, branding and internal communications.
Work collaboratively across all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, and use independence and judgment to recognize and resolve complex problems; work with general directions and according to policy and procedure; be accountable for the quality, timeliness and accuracy of own work.
Assist and eventually lead internal communications, including all branding, to drive understanding of company strategy objectives utilizing such vehicles as business updates, newsletters, announcements, team meetings, leadership presentations, etc.
Assist with customer and marketing communications, including brand communication on product and service offerings.
Regularly consult with internal teams on projects ranging from day-to-day communication needs, major launches to sustaining long-term initiatives
Measure the effectiveness of internal communications and channels on an ongoing basis and make recommendations to review and amend the strategy as appropriate.
Establish brand identity and propaganda to support Metal Talent Acquisition strategy
Refine core messaging to ensure organizational consistency in all aspects of communication including development, organizing and education.
Help identify, develop and maintain key communication channels, adapting and improving in line with external trends and business needs
Maintain all appropriate Metal communication e-mail distribution and contact lists
Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing.
Superior writing skills.
Three to five years of experience across branding, marketing and communications.
Able to translate company strategy objectives to communications content and vehicles that motivates teams and drives performance.
Consistently have developed strong relationships across all levels of the organization to effectively guide and support teams in managing all communications needs.
Ability to multi-task and support multiple projects simultaneously.
Must have strong design and creative skills, the ability to generate new ideas and concepts, and a strong command of formats, graphics and layout.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
Must be well organized and detail oriented. Must be flexible to handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
