We’re looking for an energetic, personable, and highly organized
office admin
(or administrative assistant) to join our growing team. You will support logistical and administrative tasks for multiple departments and liaise with our vendors and suppliers to ensure everything runs smoothly. With your keen eye for attention and excellent problem-solving skills, you will support daily operations and develop processes to enhance overall efficiency.
And last, but not least, your wordsmithing abilities will be fully utilized when you generate collateral either for our social media presence or for tradeshows and events.
Provide the best first impression for each office visitor
Manage the office ambience, to include inventory of office supplies, snacks, and furniture
Serve as the key point of contact for office vendors
Compile reports and make updates using our CRM (Salesforce)
Proofreader for content - ‘final set of eyes’ for copy and editing
Post and/or create content to our blog and social media platforms
Assist with and/or manage event planning for internal and external events
Assist with procuring swag and tchotchkes for events and employees
Other interesting tasks as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in office management or a related administrative role - ideally at a startup, or in a small company environment
Experience with (or a passion for) social media, marketing, design, blogging, or something similar
Excellent communication skills
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field (or maybe something health-related like Biology or Biotechnology)
Bonus Points:
Experience with Salesforce, other CRMs, or social media tools like Hootsuite
Experience with posting content to various online platforms (blogs, social media, etc)
A background in health, biotech, technology, startups, or anything related
A penchant for playing with office puppies
