The community in this top-ranked school is united in its efforts to create positive change through education in our region, country, and world. http:\/\/www.gse.upenn.edu\/ Duties This regular, full-time position will be responsible for assisting with all internal and external communications for the Penn Center for Minority Serving Institutions (CMSI), including assisting in the drafting of press releases, editing of reports, drafting of the Quarterly Newsletter, editing of grant proposals, CMSI brochures, social media posts and promotion, website updates, donor letters, and personal communication with donors and advisory board members. This position works directly with CMSI\u2019s Director and Associate Director for Programs, and also works with other professional and research staff to carry out the work of CMSI. Qualifications A Bachelor\u2019s Degree (Master\u2019s degree Preferred) and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. CMSI is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and the work requires strong organization skills, excellent communication and writing skills, and a general knowledge of higher education. Familiarity with Minority Serving Institutions is preferred. In addition to writing and editing skills, basic experience with photo-editing and graphic design are preferred, as well as experience with crafting social media campaigns for maximum engagement with different types of audiences. Video editing experience is a plus, but not required.
