We’re a small team with a big mission and we’re looking to hire a storyteller who can bring the Microsoft AI vision and value proposition to life and spark imaginations of what’s possible with Microsoft AI.
Responsibilities
In this Exec Communications and Storytelling role you will be responsible for taking a blank sheet of paper and creating something truly magical. The successful candidate will be a creative thinker and writer, deeply curious and passionate about AI technology, comfortable dealing with ambiguity, eager to learn more from customers, partners and peers, and no stranger to strategic problem solving and executive engagement.
You will take on the following challenges and rely on your prior experience delivering results.
· Storytelling, writing, and content development: You will create content, including presentations, blogs, whitepapers that connect with technical and business audiences. You have experience building impactful messaging and writing stories that connect deeply with a developer and enterprise decision maker audiences.
· Executive Platform and narrative development: You will partner with Public Relations, Analyst Relations and Product Experts on a robust external platform and narrative to support the AI Marketing Corporate Vice President. You will evaluate external engagement requests to determine if appropriate.
· Internal leadership communication development and management: You will drive development of content for All Hands, and internal employee communications that bolster team morale and ensure vision and priorities crystal clear.
· Planning and Execution: You will develop and execute project plans for speeches, including keynote and executive presentations, and drive everything from story creation, asset development including video and demo sourcing, talk track development, beautiful slideware, to rehearsal schedules. You will provide feedback and support to CVP on speech delivery and travel to each speaking location to assist with back stage logistics and final preparations.
Qualifications
· An understanding of the business challenges and opportunities AI creates for enterprises and business decision makers.
· Outstanding project management, judgment, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
· A self-starter with a profound sense of ownership and accountability, comfortable working alone or part of a broad team of stakeholders.
· Impeccable verbal and written communications skills
· Experience in engaging with PR agencies and partners
· Experience driving for results in highly matrixed environment
· 5 years communications experience supporting executives
· Bachelor degree in Journalism/Communications disciplines.
