BusinessWeek magazine online has ranked the websites of the top 20 US
MBA programs based on how easy it is to get necessary information from the site.
The magazine asked staffers, MBA applicants, and visitors to its MBA forums to examine the websites. Users were looking for application deadlines and materials, the admission director’s name and contact info, financial aid information, and descriptions of the curriculum.
The top-rated site is for Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business, an institution known for cutting-edge technology as well as its highly-regarded business school.
The worst site belonged to the University of California at Los Angeles’ Anderson School of Management. The Anderson School told
BusinessWeek that a
redesign of the website is in progress.
