Photojournalist Jobs

The photojournalist develops negatives and prints film. He or she submits negatives and pictures to editorial personnel. The photojournalist usually specializes in one phase of photography, as news, sports, special features, or as freelance photographer. The photojournalist photographs newsworthy events, locations, people, or other illustrative or educational material for use in publications or telecasts. He travels to assigned locations and takes pictures. Their photographs try to capture the mood or feeling of particular events and people in the news. The photojournalists sometimes work with reporters covering stories. Photojournalists submit ideas for stories to magazine editors or online stories. If the editors like their ideas, they get the assignments.

The job candidate should be adroit in photography and should also be well-versed in writing and speaking English.
